GE’s John F. Welch Leadership Development Center serves as the key social hub of a 50-acre corporate learning center on the banks of New York’s majestic Hudson River, just 40 miles north of Manhattan. Construction of the 4,000 square foot LEED Gold building is part of a broader venture that is aimed at rethinking Crotonville to support 21st century learning by embedding new attributes to the curriculum, redesigning facilities and empowering participants to own their own learning experience.
Serving as an educational tool for the company’s 10,000 leaders who visit to the campus each year, the new facility showcases the world’s best-in-class, energy efficient building products, systems and technologies. Installation was complete in under 4 months.
