3,500 Square Feet
Golden Gate Bridge, Highway and Transportation District, the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy, Fisher Development and Jensen Architects
The goal was to transform this international gateway into an improved visitor destination and civic amenity by May 2012. Project Frog teamed up with the Golden Gate Bridge, Highway and Transportation District and the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy to deliver a visitor pavilion in honor of the Bridge’s birthday, one that would be the cornerstone of the new and improved visitor experience.
Serving as a vibrant hub to attract visitors to the area is a striking 3,500 sf Frog building draped in the famous international orange color. Numerous green features include complete LED lighting. Millions of people from around the world will come inside to learn more about the history of this American landmark or pick up a piece of commemorative memorabilia.
