As part of the first phase of the Hunter’s Point Redevelopment Plan, Project Frog was selected to create a 5,000 sf building for the evolving community.

Situated on the edge of the bay facing San Francisco’s iconic skyline, the LEED certified facility serves as demonstration space for a range of community-oriented uses, including a public meetings and events, as well as arts education, job training, and recreation. Project Frog’s solution is visually attractive with design features that reflect the character of a distinctive urban neighborhood oriented toward education, arts, and industry. Thoughtful selection of colors, textures and other details of the building and surrounding landscape ensures connectivity to future development of the Shipyard Streetscape and Open Space Plan.

Further representing the City’s strong commitment to the environment, the roof of the new community center features Bosch Solar Energy Thin Film module.
